Snow in Jordan
Not what you'd expect - yet is was there! And not just a few flakes.

The children at the Holy Land Institute for the Deaf enjoyed the snow. The enormous slide was a success. Even deaf blind Mohammed went down it. That must have felt quite unsettling for him as even for people with sight and hearing the slipperiness is difficult, let alone for a child who is deaf blind! When sliding one yields oneself to the certainty of speed and the
uncertainty of control. What an achievement for Mohammed, who went down twice. Such courage. And how special that he too could enjoy this winter-fun.
